Position: Senior Active Directory and Exchange Engineer
comScore is seeking a self-motivated and technically savvy Senior Infrastructure Engineer for their infrastructure team in Reston, VA. The successful individual will have strong experience in networking and support, including Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange. You can sit and do “plug and play†work all day, or you can work with us, and be involved in critical systems, and large scale work. We change how the world uses the Internet, and you can be part of it too.
What you'll do day to day:
• Responsible for day to day administration duties of the network to include Windows 2000 Active Directory object maintenance, Exchange Server 2003 monitoring, instant messaging, spam filtering, corporate anti-virus and corporate patching.
• You will also resolve trouble tickets covering but not limited to advanced Microsoft Outlook issues, message delivery problems in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, spam filtering issues, network access, and Active Directory troubleshooting.
• You'll serve as second tier support for escalation of issues from helpdesk staff.
• We'll also be moving to Exchange 2007 in the next year and if you have experience with this, we can certainly use your expertise.
This position requires the employee to be able to think and act quickly in a fast-paced environment, use good judgment to understand when an issue needs to be escalated, and to use all resources available to discover the best resolution to an issue.
What skills you will need to get in the door:
• 3-5 years experience in networking, specifically in Active Directory and Exchange.
• Windows networking skills – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, HTTP
• Windows XP/2000 Professional/2000 Server/Server 2003
• Windows 2000 Active Directory – topology, maintenance, Group Policy
• MS Exchange Administration on 2003.
• Must be Detail Oriented. You will deal with people of all levels in the organization.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills

• Symantec Anti-Virus (Corporate)
• Barracuda Spam Firewall
• Juniper Netscreen
• Scripting skills
• Bachelors Degree strongly preferred.
